Rev Chris Lewis, Wedding Officiant

Rev Chris Lewis is AMAZING! He made our wedding ceremony feel personal and special. We had a meeting with him months before the wedding to get to know each other and select the general readings/scriptures and style for our vows. We did not want a long ceremony, but wanted it to still feel personal and memorable and Chris delivered! He kept things light hearted which helped calm our wedding day nerves. I especially appreciated that before the ceremony began, he made a kind announcement to our guests to silence their cell phones and refrain from taking pictures. Some of our guests didn’t even realize that we hadn’t known Chris for years - everything felt very familiar. Thank you Chris!

My husband and I absolutely adore Chris Lewis! We were living in Idaho when we got engaged and happened to be selling our house to get ready to move to Oregon. Our realtor in Idaho found out about the engagement and knew we were moving to the Bend, OR area so of course she recommended Rev Chris Lewis (her dad :) since he conveniently lived in the area we were moving to. Our realtor knew he would be the perfect person to marry us after getting to know us. After we moved to Oregon and started to figure out all the details of the elopement I gave Chris a call to find out about availability. He was so friendly and charming when we spoke, I instantly liked him. He ended up being available when we needed him on our big day but also very accommodating on the days we wanted to meet up to discuss details. Everything went smoothly from the beginning. Chris was awesome to work with. My husband and I live out of state and were nervous for our phone call with him, but he was great! Very kind and funny, and made us feel more comfortable and a lot less stressed about everything. He was just as pleasant in person, and made our ceremony wonderful. I’m very glad we chose his services, and highly recommend him!
